About Us

Atlanta Recovery Place individualizes and tailors the client's treatment based on each person's needs. The type of drug, the client’s background, length of abuse, motivation for treatment, environment and social support play a part in determining the most appropriate treatment intervention. It's important to receive one on one treatment with a therapist, evaluations from a Medical Doctor, as well as group and education treatment, when receiving alcohol or drug treatment. At Atlanta Recovery Place we provide this and more.

Addiction is typically the underlying result of a deeper cause, which is why we also treat the mental health disorders that come along with it. Regenerating healthy mental and physiological states after addiction takes time and attention. Focusing on the mental, physical and addictive healing processes for each client gives them a well rounded treatment plan and increases the likelihood of success..

We will provide you with a treatment plan that is tailored to your specific needs and help you to meet your full potential towards living a healthier lifestyle.

The treatment of substance use disorders is comprised of multiple service components, including the following:

  • Individual and group counseling
  • Inpatient and residential treatment
  • Intensive outpatient treatment
  • Partial hospital programs
  • Case or care management
  • Medication
  • Recovery support services
  • 12-Step fellowship
  • Peer supports

A person accessing treatment may not need to access every one of these components, but each plays an important role. These systems are embedded in a broader community and the support provided by various parts of that community also play an important role in supporting the recovery of people with substance use disorders (www.samhsa.gov).
