Lillian Casiano

Chief Financial Officer

With over 16 years of Human Resources and Finances experience, Mrs. Casiano is responsible for oversight of all administrative functions in the office as CFO. She studied Business Administration at Huertas Junior College in Puerto Rico.

She directly handles all financial matters. She oversees the KIPU system and is responsible for the supervision of the HR department. If you have a “money” question, she’s your gal! Also, direct any administrative issues you have her way and she’d be happy to help you.

Director of Admissions

Devin has been with Atlanta Recovery Place since the beginning of 2020 and has continuously made his clients and their needs the utmost importance. Devin has served in the substance use disorder field in a garden variety of positions. He has thrived as a recovery coach, and as a housing director to develop exceptional client centered care. Devin uses not only his work experience, but his lived experiences to bring compassion and inspiration to those he serves with a persistent work ethic. Devin is a Georgia native, growing up in Forsyth County and enjoys playing ice hockey in his spare time. He is committed to his own recovery and provides consistent service work to the 12-step recovery community in the Metro Atlanta area.

Jeff Tobish

Program Director

Jeff is a native New Yorker. He left Brooklyn at the age of 18 years old to join the US Army. Jeff proudly served overseas, fulfilled his commitment, then received an Honorable Discharge. 

Jeff is an active member in the recovery community and attends 12 step meetings on a regular basis. He started working in the treatment industry in South Florida over a decade ago. He has held many positions during his career, from entry level on up to management. Jeff feels that he can make his greatest impact with clients by building a personal therapeutic relationship with every client. Jeff enjoys working on cars, travelling, and volunteering in the community in his free time. Jeff’s favorite slogan is “An addict, any addict, can stop using drugs, lose the desire to use and find a new way to live“.

Nurse Practitioner 

Andrea Giovinazzo, FNP-C is originally from upstate New York, where she received her Associate’s Degree in Sciences from SUNY Broome Community college. Andrea also obtained two Bachelor’s Degrees in Biology and Nursing (Accelerated track) as well as her Family Nurse Practitioner Degree all from Binghamton University. Andrea has also studied Anatomy and Physiology extensively at the graduate level while taking courses at Howard University in Washington D. C.

Andrea has been providing family healthcare to patients of all ages and has specialized in the following fields: Addiction Medicine and the treatment of Hepatitis, Geriatric Medicine and Dermatology.

Andrea is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is also certified through the DEA to prescribe Buprenorphine medications to those struggling with addiction.

Andrea’s last provider role was in New York at an outpatient Addiction Medicine clinic that provided not only MAT, but also family care and group therapy. “I truly enjoy working in this field and find that it is not only rewarding when you can help a patient that wants to better themselves, but it’s also necessary to prevent the spread of an already devastating drug epidemic.”

Andrea’s personal interests include, spending time with family and her two pugs, traveling, learning new medical knowledge, listening to music, restoring/remodeling mid-century furniture pieces to make them functional and modern.

Steven Mann, LAPC

Therapist

Steven is currently an associate licensed professional counselor.  He was born and raised in the Atlanta area, but moved to Auburn, Alabama for college where he received his Bachelor’s in Sociology.  After this he moved back to Atlanta and received his Master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling.  Steven has worked in various settings including two DUI courts, community service, a psychiatric hospital, and as a jail mental health screener, before joining ARP. 

Throughout his employment, Steven has worked with people aging from their early teens through late adulthood.  During this, he has carried one fundamental aspect with all his patients that he continues to believe and act on today: no matter the symptomology, we are all human beings that are valuable and worthwhile.  This has been vital in his approach towards helping others find their potential and overcoming whatever obstacles are hindering them from achieving this, be it addiction, suicidal depression, unresolved trauma, or any sort of stigma caused from life transitions such as dropping out of college. 

Outside of work, Steven is active in martial arts training, spending time with friends and family, and enjoys hobbies such as origami, listening to music, and attending sports events such as Atlanta United soccer games.

Jada Brown

Case Manager

Jada is a Masters level therapist with a Masters of Arts in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.  Jada has over 1 year of field experience and has recently begun a program at The Chicago School to gain her licensure in Forensic Psychology. While obtaining her education, Jada completed an internship with Douglas County Juvenile Court completing intake assessments, Adolescent Substance Abuse Projection (ASAP) assessments as well as reviewed psychological exams completed by the on staff forensic psychologist. Jada’s approach to treatment includes CBT, DBT and Experiential therapies. Jada’s wish is to boost the confidence of client’s by encouraging the change of negative thoughts and focusing on the lessons to be learned in negative experiences. As the Discharge Planner and After-Care Coordinator, Jada’s focus is teaching life skills such as resume building, budgeting and communication as well as ensuring that clients are equipped with the tools and resources needed for a successful journey outside of treatment.

Assistant Clinical Director

Alexandria Daly is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with a Master’s of Science degree from Mercer University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Alexandria has over 2 years of experience providing counseling to young adults and families. Her approach to counseling consists of utilizing CBT and DBT techniques which focuses on individuals evaluating negative thoughts and altering maladaptive behavior associated with those thoughts.  Alexandria desires to build up the confidence of individuals so that they believe that recovery is not only a possibility but an actuality.

Dr. Michelle Cort

Chief Operations Officer

Dr. Michelle Cort is a high performance, quality driven healthcare professional more than 27 years of experience and expertise in visionary leadership and problem resolution for healthcare facilities. 

She is exceptionally organized and disciplined with well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and direct others in a supportive and cooperative team environment. Dr. Cort has been recognized for consistent successful development of systems, processes, and procedures to streamline operations, increase revenues, and enhance profit performance. 

She holds a Doctorate in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix, Master of Science in Health Care Policy and Administration from Mercer University and a Bachelor of Science in Counseling from York College. Dr. Cort presently leverages all her training and experience in her work as the Chief Operating Officer for Atlanta Recovery Place.

Dr. Cort is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Telemedicine Association.
