Andrea Giovinazzo, FNP-C

Andrea Giovinazzo, FNP-C is originally from upstate New York, where she received her Associate’s Degree in Sciences from SUNY Broome Community college. Andrea also obtained two Bachelor’s Degrees in Biology and Nursing (Accelerated track) as well as her Family Nurse Practitioner Degree all from Binghamton University. Andrea has also studied Anatomy and Physiology extensively at the graduate level while taking courses at Howard University in Washington D. C. Andrea has been providing family healthcare to patients of all ages and has specialized in the following fields: Addiction Medicine and the treatment of Hepatitis, Geriatric Medicine and Dermatology. Andrea is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is also certified through the DEA to prescribe Buprenorphine medications to those struggling with addiction. Andrea’s last provider role was in New York at an outpatient Addiction Medicine clinic that provided not only MAT, but also family care and group therapy. “I truly enjoy working in this field and find that it is not only rewarding when you can help a patient that wants to better themselves, but it’s also necessary to prevent the spread of an already devastating drug epidemic.” Andrea’s personal interests include, spending time with family and her two pugs, traveling, learning new medical knowledge, listening to music, restoring/remodeling mid-century furniture pieces to make them functional and
